With my first post, I would like to welcome everyone to what I hope becomes a fundamental resource in our community. My goal for this blog is to have as positive of an impact on our youth as possible. I hope you enjoy and share the weekly content we will provide so that together we can work to build a better world.
Who am I?
My name is Master Brandan A. Rhoades. I am a fourth degree blackbelt in Olympic Taekwondo (the art of kicking and punching), a second degree blackbelt in Hapkido (A combat system centered around joint locks, throws, submissions, and chokes), and a first degree blackbelt in Arnis (stick and knife fighting). I’ve also spent quite a bit of time training in Judo and Boxing. I’ve been instructing Martial Arts for more than ten years and have trained with some amazing people.
Why I’m writing this Blog?
I’m writing this blog with the intent of creating a cornerstone resource in youth development and youth safety.
In future posts, we will discuss topics such as:
- Stranger Danger
- How to Build Focus and Respect
- Youth Fitness
and other topics that will benefit any child’s future.
I would also like to invite each one of you to submit requests for topics.
